The Crown Tavern - Lanark

I've visited The Clot several times over the years for nights out and drinks. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The last time I was there, we used the function room for a rest, dinner, and drinks. The evening meal was a set menu and quite enjoyable. The drink selection on the small upper floor bar was somewhat limited, but the staff downstairs was prompt in bringing drinks up and down from the main bar. I didn't mind going downstairs myself to grab drinks when they were busy, especially since it was a lively Saturday night with a great atmosphere. I would recommend it for small functions for those looking for a venue near Lanark.

During my visit to the city, my friends recommended this traditional pub to me. I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and attentive. The menu offered a great selection, and the dishes I tried were absolutely delicious. Plus, they had a large screen TV, which added to the overall enjoyable experience.
