Le Mole - Lampaul-Plouarzel

Ok, that was the first restaurant on this trip where we were asked (and later arrival) whether we had a reservation. it tells them something about the popularity of the place. we came in without one. the restaurant is approx. 1/2 mile from the city, below (as the name already says) at the harbour. there are local parking spaces that were not close to full when we arrived or left (but it was early juli, instead of august.) there are two menus the printed creperie menu and the plats du jour . she went for a galette, but I wanted to have some meeres, so went for the assiette terre mer. both were very good in that. as others have noticed, the serving is not the fastest in the world, but then again, when they have freshly cooked in a busy restaurant? the wee was very good for a midday time and there is also a selection of bee and lemons, including local pressure.

We arrived without a reservation and managed to get a table. Five minutes later the place was full/ Excellant menu, local, high quality fish and seafood with very attentive service. A very welcoming dining room with a view of the chefs at work, a superb...position right on the water.

I am from Brest but leaving abroad, each time I am coming back in the region I try to go Chez Milo!! Love the food, the view and the welcoming people.

We ate there several times moules with frittes. They are fantastic! Service is a little bit annoying, they are not fast at all, they told us after eating that they have a smaller and cheaper portion for kids. This is a reason for not going...there anymore because we paid full prize for 5 people (2 small kids).

Mieux valait réserver pour un dimanche soir. soiree musicale avec un groupe local.service rapide malgre le nombre de clients .
