Uma casa de fazenda dividida em quartos espaçosos e mobiliados de forma simples, banheiros anexos, os proprietários são simpáticos e prestativos. Uma bela vista sobre o vale, próximo do vale do rio Douro.

Tudo muito bem. Basta ter em mente que não há limpeza diária do quarto.

Antonio was a wonderful host. The meal was wonderful but the conversation was even better. Antonio is proud of his country and their traditions and shared so much of this with us. We got a great introduction to the Fado

It is a bit of a climb from the center of town, but well worth it! We were greeted by the owner, who fortunately speaks excellent English. After some appetizers we had an excellent 3 course lunch. Between courses (and some unfortunate rain, we had a tour of the house and learned about the history. It is unfortunate we stay nearly 200 km from here, we would otherwise certainly visit again!

If you’re in Lamego and looking for a great meal with the most incredible host, look no further. Paula could not have done more to make us feel welcome. We speak no Portuguese, she speaks little English. Didn’t make it any less special. The food was great, but it really was Paula who made the visit so enjoyable, it will be my fondest memory from Portugal.
