Bidrage med feedbackComfort food, comfort style, a local restaurant that is consistent. Super friendly staff, helpful, nice decore in an old historic home. Cold night Friday 11/8, not sure what we wanted, but wanted a warm place with some options to meet both our tastes at the close of the work week. We started off with the french onion soup as we discussed our dinner selection options. Was a full, hot bowl that delivered a nice pleasant smell and taste as well. Heaping with onions and covered in lots of cheese, certainly enough in the serving to share. My honey then had the linguini with clams in a white broth which she enjoyed and I had the sausage and broccoli rab over bowtie pasta which I liked. Love broccoli rab, its a great complement to the sausage. Its a BYOB and they take credit cards. Small tables for two and 4s.
Beautifully converted Lamberville, NJ mansion that offers three squares a day in a quiet, dignified house with plenty of space between the tables for intimate conversation surrounding very good victuals. All very late 19th Century. I was there for midweek breakfast and walked in to a mostly empty restaurant. There is an attractive marble counter with stools, but it was loaded with desserts and didn 't seem the place designed to really eat. So, I walked to the next dining room, where there was one other table occupied, but so far across the room that I felt totally alone taking a smaller deuce along the opposite wall facing a window. Each table in this room was rough cut from a larger tree trunk and finished with smooth top, but the edges left rough. Beautiful. I 'd love one for home. The menu is fairly small for the morning meal, and pricing is oriented toward higher end cafes, rather than more reasonable primarily breakfast joints. Still, my turkey sausage, fried egg and cheddar on an unusually attractive and tasty roll, reflected the gourmand focus. Execution was superlative. My server incorporated my choice for lightly runny eggs with aplomb. That is exactly what I got. Coffee from Counter Culture. Not sure why they don 't use java from local roasters better than this North Carolina outfit given the trend toward local sourcing. Still, it was solid Joe, refilled gracefully as needed. Nothing run of the mill about Café Galleria. If you 're into morning romantic interludes, this is the place.

Came in for a brunch around 11am on a Sunday with another couple pre play. We had a 1pm play, The Buddy Holly Story across the river at the Buck County Playhouse. Parking was simple and free until 1pm. The place is an old house, or like a small inn. It is a BYOB we brought some prosecco. There is a bar area where you can sit and have a meal or cup of coffee then the small dining room is just to the left. Table seating was comfortable if a tad small. Service was prompt but a bit relaxed. Many youngsters serving and acting as hostesses. All ok if a wee bit unprofessional. This is a vegan joint. We did not know this as our friends had suggested the place. But there are plenty of choices available for brunch to suit any taste. I spied a bean cake on the menu so I got it having never had a bean cake before. It was about a one half to three quarter inch thick bean cake, mostly lentils and some others, served with two sunny side up eggs over top and a side of roasted potatoes and two pieces of whole wheat toast. Surprisingly delicious. Ambiance is modest sized inn or old house, 19th century, plenty of light and art from local painters hanging on all the walls. Very nice. We liked it and will likely return when back in Lambertville. Mark Nancy.
Visited New Hope for the first time today after years of people telling me who cute it is. We grabbed lunch before walking around at Cafe Galleria. This place which used to be a house is super cute. There is both outdoor and indoor seating. We sat inside and were seated immediately. Kyle then came over, introduced himself and told us about the specials. My daughter and I are vegan so she got the chili with soy cheese (dayia) and I ordered the margarita pie with soy cheese and fresh spinach then got the hummus with a side of veggies for the table. My husband shared the pizza with me and really liked it. He's not a fan of dayia cheese but can definitely taste the change in their recipe. The chili was good, spicy, but good and the pizza was awesome. Their desserts were vegan so we asked Kyle to put one of each aside for us which he did. We got the brownie, s'mores cupcake and black bottom cupcake all were awesome. Kyle was so good, friendly and sweet. We really liked him.
