B&b Chophouse Market - Lakewood Ranch

My wife and I went to this restaurant for lunch. She ordered the 7 oz filet and I got the 16 oz ribeye with gratin potatoes. The potatoes were good, but her filet was mediocre and nothing special. My ribeye was seasoned well and had a nice crust, but the seasoning was burnt, giving it an unpleasant taste in every bite. Additionally, the wood fire taste was bitter and overpowering, making the steak taste like it had been choked with smoke. Overall, the restaurant is a good choice for a slightly above average steak dinner with a nice ambiance, but if you are a steak connoisseur, it may not meet your high standards.

I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner. The price per person was between $30-$50. The food was rated a 4 out of 5, the service was rated a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere was rated a 4 out of 5. I would recommend trying the Grilled Asparagus, 10oz Slow Roasted Prime Rib, B&B Charcuterie Board, Braised Short Rib Tomahawk Style, Flight of Bourbon, Crab Bisque, Steak Selection, and Cowboy Ribeye. As for parking, there was plenty of space available and it was free of charge in the parking lot.

I ordered the 10 oz fillet with their signature au gratin potatoes and a side of bearnaise sauce. Unfortunately, both the fillet and sauce were inedible. The dish was incredibly salty, as if the salt shaker had spilled all over my meal during the cooking process. The potatoes also lacked any flavor. The service from our server, Heather B., was equally disappointing. This will be my one and only visit to this restaurant. Meal type: Dinner.

I have eaten here several times and the food, service and pricing are always good. Just wish there was more parking since several restaurants and businesses are located here and sometimes it is a bit of a walk to get back to the car.
