Bidrage med feedbackFirst time was great. Just ordered delivery, and the sushi was terrible. 2 pieces of the Krab roll did not have crab in it. Makes me wonder if they have a consistency issue. Went from a can't wait to go back to should I go back. Great food. Best Tom Yum soup I have ever eaten. Can't wait to go back. Service was very good and friendly
For the first time in a long time the wife and I got a babysitter and went out. We didn't want the norm so debated on multiple choices, as we've eaten at the rib house before it was an option. It was shortly realized to be the option. It was 8pm when heading to the restaurant my wife called to confirm they would be open the hostess confirmed the kitchen open till 8:45. We arrived at the restaurant there was no other guest. We were promptly seated to our choice of table and presented with multiple menu's.. a Thai appetizer menu a Japanese appetizer menu a sushi menu and a American menu, we decide on a single entree to share and two appetizers plus sushi... the food was amazing, we ordered or main course extra spicy and it was good but that being a preference I asked for a hot oil to add and was offered a spice buffet...the server brought a covered container featuring four choices that finished the meal to perfection. We will be returning time and time again.
Well, let me tell you, they used to have unhappy, unattentive and overall quite bad service most of the time before and they definitely improved on that! Tiffany, our server tonight, was absolutely wonderful! She was totally sweet, helpful and caring through out the entire service. Unfortunately though, that's just about it that was good about our experience tonight. With the change of ownership the entire menu changed too and not for the best. Two of the most special, unique and super delicious sushi rolls they had (Land Sea and Crazy Tuna) are gone forever. Their green curry I used to love is now totally different. Tuna Tataki was overdone and slightly fishy. The 3 sushi rolls the boys ordered (my husband and my son), were in my opinion ... edible at best. And if you got used to their complimentary salad buffet, that's gone too. Oh, yeah, all these overpriced!
Rib House used to be a weekly stop for me. Always enjoyed the food and service. Well it's been a month of Sundays since I've been in. I will have to say the food is still great and service is great.
I had a craving for Sweet and Sour Chicken. I tried The Rib House based on the great reviews. The egg rolls were fantastic. The sweet and sour chicken was not what I was expecting. It came unbreaded in a soup type dish. Tasty but disappointed, I was told it was the Thai version. So I ordered the breaded and fried version. This time it was soggy like uncooked French toast. Last time in Denver, they fried the chicken in the breading and put the sauce on the side for dipping. The flavors were good and the service was friendly and quick. They really cared about making it right. The presentation is beautiful and the serving size is reasonable for the price.
