Bidrage med feedbackI am Puertorriqueña and totally recommend this place to try something that taste from PR. The complementary soup was delicious, the fried cheese yummy and the skirt with shrimp tasteful. Love it.
One of the best and my favorite authentic restaurants I go to regularly. The food is always served hot and fresh with a lot of options on the menu which all of them are very good. Great desserts and the staff could not be better, very clean restaurant and would recommend this every day of the week.
Genuine Puertorrican hospitality and cuisine here. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted as if you 're part of the family (just like on the island). We were offered a complimentary small bowl of sopa de salchichón as a starter. The aroma immediately transported me to Puerto Rico on a rainy day. I highly recommend trying their platters since they come with a variety of items. Their pasteles are to die for. We ordered the Borinqueña and the Antojitos platters. Everything was delicious. It was more than just food, it was an experience.
Food was amazing. One of the best Puertorrican restaurant that I ever had outside of Puerto Rico . They had a complementary soup on the house that took me to my grandma's house. We had fried cheese as appetizer with guava sauce and empanadilla de pionono. Mofongo for entrée and natural Juice( Lime and Tamarind). My mofongo was stuffed with arroz con Gandules, pernil y morcilla. (Pigeon peas rice, roasted pork and blood sausage). My wife's was stuffed with skirt steak. They also have a market with products that are hard to find that take you to your younger years.
A bit pricey but overall the food was delicious. We ordered two mofongos. One with chicken chicharron and the other with roast pork. They were tasty the mofongos were moist enough that you didn't need the broth on the side. Also ordered morcilla, beef alcapurria, mofongo filled with asopao de gandules. We had a bizcochito for dessert for a little bday celebration. Also yummy. Sangrias were ordered as well but they were quite expensive. Malta India was my drink of choice. Big bottle for $3. My favorites were the mofongo and alcapurrias. I'd definitely go back for those as there are not many places like this one that can recreate that authentic PR flavor.
