Bidrage med feedbackI have been to MANY locations for weddings, sweet 16's, etc. I have NEVER in my life seen people be so RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL! They do not want to be bothered with ANYTHING and they are very cold and have an attitude with ANYTHING you ask involving the event. DO NOT HAVE ANY EVENT HERE! They do not want to make the day special for you, they just want to go there, do nothing, and leave. I have NEVER seen something like this in my life. I saw one of their workers crying. They do not treat people they way they deserve to be treated. I am truly appalled and so upset for the employees serving and running around to make the wedding great when the people in charge are horrible.
La Bove ' Grande was renovated about 2 years ago and is enjoying the business of weddings, corporate affairs and private parties. However, they have a dining room which provides a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere while subtly bringing you someplace else, like an understated Paris non-tourist restaurant. The menu was not War and Peace, but was distinctly separated into homogeneous sections making reading and deciding quite easy. The quality of food was well above the average large chain places; and, the wait staff blended into the ambiance, meaning the bubbly broad smile and Hi, I 'm Anna and I 'll be your server was thankfully missing. You can safely order a veal chop here and not have it appear diminutive on your plate. Accompanying pastas are your choice and the various sauces can be prepared to your liking. The dining room is sizable but the carpeting and wall treatments allow private conversations in soft tones. We found drinks to be quite well made and satisfying to our taste. There is a well chosen wine list to satisfy most palates and it is a fairly affordable list. Surprisingly the owner, Jerry Bove ' makes it a point to become acquainted with is quests. This well dressed European man is not intimidating. His demeanor is gracious and his concern for the success of your evening is honest. To me this is important. Mr. Bove ' gives the restaurant its charm and warmth. I highly recommend La Bove ' Grande, formerly known as the Circle Landmark is a must visit for a quiet, un-rushed, satisfying dining evening. Their bar is small but intimate and the service was very pleasant.
