Camp Shasta Coffee Co - Lakehead

Breakfast burrito was good. The building and dining area are very old, run-down and dirty. The guy at the counter where you order your food seemed very annoyed that he actually had a customer. He told me he had not made coffee yet but he could heat up coffee left over from the previous day in the microwave if I wanted. The place is for sale and I'm guessing I know why.

We wanted espresso and being that this place has coffee in the name that's what we expected. Instead it was just drip coffee. Good but just not what we wanted. Also had sausage breakfast burritos which were good, classic diner feel, place maybe a bit run down and just reused the old signage etc. Felt a bit like a bait and switch but this is post COVID so at least the place is still open!

For a little place they have a wide variety on their menu and everything is really good they are choosy on items they put on their menu and you can tell because they have really good stuff!!!Pizzas tacos breakfast it's all good and the young man that works there is super friendly nice and efficient!

Biscuits and Gravy with 2 scambled is the standard by which I judge all breakfast places. This is in my top 5 ever. Biscuits were good and smothered so a little hard to tell but I feel like they would be just as amazing with butter and honey. Gravy had plenty of meat and the seasoning was awesome. Good and peppery, not weak. Try it, you will be amazed. Sorry no Pic. I forgot once I started eating I am already looking forward to eating there the next time I drive back from California to Washington. My mouth is watering now.... road trip.

Great place for morning mocha and breakfast. I would recommend this place to anyone who visit caverns ...omelet and hash browns just too good ..
