The chips are made in the house and taste amazing. Salsas are also made at home and phenomenal. I wanted to order an avocado burrito, but unfortunately the avocados they had were not ripe. The owner came by and I told her about it and she was apologetic and told us the next time it was on her. A great way to deal with this situation. We have the nachos that were huge and delicious! The Quesadillas were also great. All foods are full of taste and exceptional. Very recommended and we will come back.
Pros: Excellent/super friendly service, high quality ingredients, plentiful portions. They even serve only good sugars on the tables. Imagine eating at your aunt, and she can COOK. We'll come back 100%, just have to decide what we'll try next and try to speed us up... Cons: The location, outside, and signage of this cozy place does NOT do the food and general vibe justice.
The first time in this place. It's nice. We showed around 445 and were greeted with friendly smiles and prompt service. The waitress unfortunately had no apple juice for my child, but could find a juice box for him in the refrigerator. I thought it was a nice gesture. The food was excellent. The salsa was a little sharp, but the chips were phenomenal. Please do not take my assessment of salsa as negative. I don't treat spices very well. My wife on the other hand, the spicy food loved salsa. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you receive. My family was happy with the food and service. We're going back.
We were here for the first time yesterday and were very happy with our order. My friends both got the order of chicken tacos and loved them. Zilantroreis was very good! I had the cattlefajita scarf and it was well prepared. The quality of food was very good and fresh. We have experienced excellent customer service. The staff was very friendly and really ensured that our takeout did not go through the thorough bagging.
Guys, this place is next to Trader Joe's in Lake Zurich! Google lost me at first. My first impression of this place is that it's not your regular Mexican restaurant by any means. It's a charming rustic and tastefully decorated space with lots of vintage styled pieces. The music is just right and not too loud! The customer service is excellent, great job to the person serving lunch. He greeted me with a big smile and was helpful. The chips are homemade and the salsa is a fiery roasted tomato base with tomatillo. The best part is they serve free coffee: I will be doing more lunches here.
