Viva La Playa - Lake Worth

We used to love dining at Viva La Playa, but when we arrived at the restaurant, we found that it had been changed to Benny's Oceanwalk by the original owners of Benny on the Beach. Some of the old dishes were still on the menu, but the guacamole wasn't as good as before. The restaurant was empty with only one or two other customers, and they never confirmed our reservation or notified us of their closure on OpenTable. Despite this, we made the best of it and had a good time with our friends. However, we don't plan on returning.

Great place for ocean view and food is great. I loved atmosphere.

Slow service. Cosmo martini highly overrated for $17 each…! Not even served on a real martini glass- but a champagne glass instead. AND IT’S CRACKED…!! Told waiter about it and didn’t even do anything about it…!

The one vegan entree (not salad) on the menu is a veggie taco. This was not good it tasted like all of the vegetables had been pickled, which was overpowering, and the kitchen refused to serve it with soft tacos (although I was able to order those separately), which I wanted to add some heft to the lunch. Overall, this was a disappointing dining experience. But, it’s lovely to have a view of the ocean.
