Callaro's Steak House

Wonderful night enjoyed with my son on his 35th birthday! Excellent service from all with smiling happy faces! Nice calm relaxing atmosphere! We enjoyed our dinner together tremendously!

This was one delicious Chophouse Burger. It came with fries as well for the low Happy Hour price of $6 plus $1 for cheese. I’ll be back soon for another. It was perfectly well done just like I asked for. The entire Happy Hour menu is amazing.

Great place! Great service! Great food! My wife and I just wanted to get out something easy listen to live music or something like that. We headed to Lake Ave came across Callaro's and thought we get something good to eat not bar food before we hit the bar/rest for live music. We never left Callaro's the service was awesome, food was delicious and atmosphere was perfect for us to just get out. We had wine, apps and desert... try the cheesecake!!! Looking forward to going back for a for a full dinner.

Went with friends before going to the theater next door. Tom was a great waiter, personable and very attentive. They have a First Impressions menu if you are seated before 6:45. It includes soup or salad and a non alcoholic drink. I started with the house salad with a very good Greek vinaigrette. My wife had the house salad with bleu cheese. I had the NY strip which was very good and cooked perfectly, came with a side of a choice of potato. My wife ordered the prime rib, also very good. They have a nice selection of desserts. We opted for the 4 layer Chocolate cake. Limited but nice wine list.

Found this place quickly by a quick Google search and so happy we did! Was in a time crunch to make a show and they accommodated us very well! The food was good, steak cooked to my preference and a sizable chopped salad to start. I do wish their wine selection by the glass was more varied, but our server was extremely knowledgeable and able to make recommendations off of the menu to suit our requests. Service was expedited, friendly and personable. Only downside I feel was that the restaurant was too lit. The overhead lights although stylish and fit the decor, the ambiance was lessened because they were so bright. Definitely not something that would deter me from going again, but the atmosphere would have been more warm and welcoming with lower mood lighting.
