Smokin' E's Bbq - Lake Station

The place smelt amazing from the parking lot! Greeted with a smile and warm welcome. The menu is simple, but has all the good stuff. Ribs, brisket rib tips were amazing, great smoke flavor and very tender. The spoon cornbread was fantastic, sweet good texture. Highly recommend this spot!

Pros: I will say the brisket was not lacking in flavor. It was quite delicious. Congrats to them for the recent award! I can also appreciate the brochette buns they use for the brisket sandwich. Cons: it would have been nice to have the bun warmed. It was cold bringing down the temp of the meat. I also wish they offered some sort of sauce for the sandwich (bbq perhaps) instead of just bun and meat. The baked beans were a bit too sweet for me. But I will try them out again to see about the rib tips.

Been living in lake station for 5 years moved here from Chicago,and I?ll have to say best damn place to eat period anywhere close to here! First time trying there baby back ribs and I WILL be back!!! And for 23$ for a slab of ribs that good!!not gonna hear me complaining.. I don?t mind paying extra for the sides only had the baked beans but they were very good and can?t wait to try the pulled pork and Mac and cheese!

Food was not the best ribs are dry and not freshly cooked not Sure when they?re cooked as I live down the street and never smell the smoke of said smoker. i live locally wanted to try the food contribute to local business. , I smoke hot links and ribs and pulled pork often however I don?t always wanna turn the smoker on and cook the meat did not taste like it was smoked or have grill grate markings. The spoon bread was amazing and would definitely go back for it. But the meat was lacking seasoning ,smoke , and the bbq sauce watered down.

Great customer service. They did not habe what i came for. BRISKET!! Still a must try if you're in the area and want some BBQ
