Generations - LAKE PLACID

I am very surprised to hear how disappointed people are about this restaurant. my first trip was about 4 years ago and my husband and I thought eating was very good. the best chicken-cheese salad I've ever had! I don't remember time problems or worry about the waiting staff. my second trip was yesterday with my lazy while my man had a job meeting. I was very glad to drive the city and see that generations were still there. again the best chicken salad of all time! we sat outside, great weather, great people around and great eating. our server was very attentive and friendly and was able to answer our asking about the things on the menu and what they were made. defines a stop that I will agian!

We stopped in for lunch and happy hour special for hotel guests. It was so good we went back for dinner. Excellent sandwiches, burgers and some of the best wings I have ever had. Staff was very friendly and it’s a relaxing atmosphere. Cannot wait to come back!!

We had great service. Our waitress recommended a local beer that I found quite tasty. I ate an excellent Rueben with French Fries. The fries were excellent also.

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Natasha and the Generations team over the past two years. They seamlessly hosted our wedding group dinner, wedding welcome happy hour, and wedding farewell brunch. Our friends and family are still talking about the food and drinks from all three events. We highly highly recommend this entire team over and over. Seriously book them for your next event!!

We arrived just 5 minutes before closing and were quite hungry after a long day of traveling. The kind host warmly welcomed us and said, "Don't worry, we’ll be happy to accommodate you." It was an amazing experience!
