Boat House Grill - Lake Havasu

Newer eatery with full bar, indoor and outdoor dining and coffee bar to-go. One page lunch menu offers 5-6 salads, traditional sandwiches like clubhouse and burgers, and a few signature dishes like ahi poke and lobster rolls. Both times I visited for lunch the service was excellent and the food was right on. The dining room adjoins the bar and the space is a bit noisy when full. I also attended an evening function on the outdoor patio and the staff was completely unprepared for our group. No tables were set up, no wait staff were available and when we headed to the bar to get drinks we were told to wait outside they were bringing someone in. It was evident the event was not on their schedule. We visited for 30 minutes and left. Unfortunate.

Just want to say what an amazing place to eat. Service was amazing. Kirk Hankins came and talked with us at our table what an awesome manger. I try and eat there every time I visit ????????

DeeDee was such a fantastic server, great personality, so cheerful! She really made our visit. Our food took a bit more than expected, but she make it right. The taste, a total party for your taste buds!! The plating decor was so unique. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. You could just go in for a famous cinnamon roll speciality coffee or have a full meal in the dining room or the bar.

Ok, I am going to give the Boat House a solid good. The thing that brings it to 4 stars instead of 3 was the bomb service by Captain Kirk! Kirk was a stud! Knew the menu, knew what to sell and did a great job keeping us happy and entertained! The food was ok. Good, not great. I did enjoy the massive **** Mary! I love lunch with my ****! The biggest bummer of it was that the lobster was overcooked. This was kind of a theme. Similar with the ahi. The sear was way too deep. I'll admit, I am a Seattle guy, so I am picky when it comes to seafood. Again, though, solid props to Kirk! We would go back just for him.
