Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Lake City

First time stopping in here. Ordered on the app but went inside because the app never have the limited time specials(blackened chicken sandwich). 97 Health Score and the inside was very clean. Lots of people working and scurrying around. The drive thru line was moving along nicely. The lady on the register was very patient with the customer having difficulties as the line grew longer. I was told they won 't of the blackened chicken sandwich but they had blackened nuggets. Also they were out of popcorn shrimp which I ordered on the app. My app order was ready but now I had to wait until they cooked butterfly shrimp and the nuggets. Thus the reason for the 4 review. Again the cashier was very polite and apologetic for the delay. A person I suppose was a manager had to take an employee aside to verbally chastise because of a dispute between her and Raven. This should have been administered in an office or outside instead at a table with customers within listening distance. Same on her

Was understanding to the mix up since young lady at the counter was in training but my order was wrong brought it back in was looked over for almost ten minutes at the counter even by manager before worker assisted me but was very polite about the situation. After I sat in drive thru for over twenty minutes then took a chance inside to wait another twenty just to get 9pcs out of the 10 I paid $16 for them dang baby chic chickens I received!!!! ‍ my goodness please get it together

I was a bit disappointed in the flounder sandwich. Wasn't very tasty. The first sandwich they gave me had been sitting a while. The bread was really soggy. I asked for a fresh one and they gave me one with no problem. They only had sweet tea and two types of soda to offer. They said they were out of all other beverages. The sweet tea was extremely sweet and tasted like it had been brewed too long. And I'm usually a fan of their tea. Sorry guys..... but not so good this time

They are stepping their game up!! The staff and manager are always friendly even when they are out of items!
