San Angel Inn - Lake Buena Vista

I’m so disappointed of this place. I will never eat here again. The prices are so high and the portions are so small, the food is not good. This place just want to take advantage of people and to make money out of you!

We visited this restaurant in late August at Epcott and found the food to be horrible. It was pretty expensive and the only thing it seemed to have going for it was the ambiance creates as if one is sitting by some Mayan pyramids. We had the tacos, chicken and beef; both pretty poor quality and taste. Skip this resto as much as possible. :

We got a reservation here for my mom's birthday. I am not a fan of Mexican food but I wanted to try something different from a caesar salad. I got the costillas de puerco and the totopos. The costillas de puero were really good, although the taste of them was not what I was used to. The totopos were just corn chips with white cheddar cheese sauce and salsa, and we really enjoyed that. The cheddar cheese sauce was tasty and savory, and the chips were great. When we ordered our food, our food was brought to us within 10 minutes. I do not remember our server's name, but he was very attentive and made sure to bring out a cute birthday dessert for my mom. I will say that I think that most of our party did not really enjoy their meals and were expecting more from this restaurant. Apparently some changes were made in the past few years, and that contributed to the quality of the food. A few people in my party were disappointed with their meals. Still, the service was excellent and the food was fine. I am not sure we will be returning to try other items on their menu, though.

This restaurant amazing! My husband and I went with no reservation, and despite it being quite full, they got us a seat right away. Really allergy friendly, I am allergic to dairy, eggs and peanuts, and one of the first things they asked us was if we had any allergies. Super accommodating. The atmosphere is awesome, after a long day in the hot sun the dark cool environment is welcome. And the service was quick, and super friendly. I lived in Mexico for 4 years and the tacos are very authentic, best corn tortillas I have had in years! Dietary restrictions: Ordering the tacos without queso and crema worked wonderfully, my husband who is not dairy free didn’t miss it.

Good food but over priced for what you get. Taste wasn’t amazing but not a shock for Disney. No free chips and Salsa which is crazy for a Mexican restaurant. The best part of the lunch was the atmosphere, very cool setup with the river and scenery. I would recommend going if haven’t been but probably not a go back place. Kid-friendliness: Yes, kid friendliness
