Cana Roca - Lajes das Flores

It’s Roman Style thin crust pizza which is my favorite. I prefer this over Napoli thick crust any day. I think everyone who comes here doesn’t expect it to be so good being that it’s such a remote island. The staff are all so lovely and warm and the pizza came out way faster than what I’ve been experiencing since landing on the Azores. Taste wise is honestly really good!!! The dough is very typical well made Roman style. Highly highly recommend.

If you want to eat true italian pizza, this place is the right choice. Waitress was very nice.

Lekker gegeten voor een goede prijs. Binnen was alleen plaats voor mensen die gereserveerd hadden. Buiten konde we gelukkig zonder reservatie gaan zitten. Bediening was vriendelijk.

Honestly: didn’t expect the pizza to be so good! Especially in village where there is not much going on! We had 3 pizza’s, they tasted different, were nicely hot, straight from the oven, prepared with nice products and most importantly: not salty! The place doesn’t look much from outside or inside, but hey: don’t judge a book by it’s cover! Also not expensive: we paid 33€ for 3 big pizza’s, so you het nice value for your money.
