Hotel du Port - L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer

We had a lovely meal at this Restaurant today and found both the food very good and the staff were friendly. The only downside is that it is situated adjacent to a round about.

Poor portion for the price .Quality of the food very poor .this restaurant is gone down hill since are last visit .when asking about gluten in the food the staff have no idea !!! Considering other restaurant in the area advertise which dish is safe...this restaurant is failling behind others who by law must tell you about it .Following are visit my wife who is allergic to gluten was very sick. Warning the cheapest bottle of wine is 20 euros!!!

Not to find for a because, but not disappointed that both the chicks for buffet entrees and plates were still of the same high standard we had expected. personal to still work very hard and very friendly.

Not having visited the restaurant du Port for some time we decided to have lunch here during our day out. For €13 pp incl of a house wine (we tried the rosé; which was very palatable) a four course lunch of buffet starter, mains, cheese...and dessert is still excellent value. Even though it is off-season it became busy very quickly. A timely arrival is recommended.

We have eaten here often and have never been disappointed, eating is always excellent and staff always friendly and friendly, especially hot the beautiful Irish lady, can highly recommend the lunch buffet starter, and always the fresh fish.
