Mauka Makai - Lahaina

Everything was delicious! Best restaurant we’ve been to on Maui this trip! Our server, Danielle, gave us great recommendations and was overall wonderful. The staff was very kind and the kitchen was very accommodating to food allergies.

Wonderful ambience and great service at this restaurant with a Hawaiian themed menu. We ordered all small plates and they were creatively prepared and beautifully presented.

We went there for the Sunday buffet. Great variety, lovely presentation. Had to ask for more water and drinks several times, so I didn't think the wait staff was very attentive. They also didn't clear used plates without us having to ask. You'd think with a buffet that the wait staff wouldn't have much to do, so at least they could have done that. The salads and entrees were pretty good. Desserts were so so.

The menu was bad. We were very disappointed. But ordered anyway. Food was awful. Service was good and people were nice, but food was just terrible. We honestly joked about it as a family. It was that bad.
