We have several goodies: Mandel Croissant, Blaubeere Danish, Coconut Danish and Speck/Egg/Cheese Croissant. Breakfast Croissant was made before me and it was surely the highlight. There was only one person on the front when I was there, so the service was slow, but I wasn't in a hurry. The other standout was the Mandel Croissant. It was not twice baked, but it was flaky and it had almond paste in so very strong almond taste when that is your jam. The dunishes were a bit too doughy for me. For about $17 for everything, I say it is a big thing if you are looking for a bakery repair or a big breakfast croissant.
This place is brilliant, here for years and years (1970s) and its obvious, the new owners are to fix it. All that next to the breads is great, fresh and made on site. They make goods for local hotels, but have tons of large pastries, croissant, cookies, muffins and even strudels you can buy. We took a sorted box and then tasted the next days and great meetings of owners Charlie Owen. Go on!
That was a fantastic jewel of a bakery. Your pastries are amazing. When we saw a cook from another restaurant with bread from this bakery, you know it must be good. And it wa absolutely fantastic I loved everything I had. And we came every day during our trip. Oh by the way, the owner and the staff were also very friendly, thank you!
Really nice little local bakery that opens early for all of us mainlanders that around 5a or so on our first days in this paradise Maui. I recommend the coffee cake when they have it, the muffins, and all this, but the kitchen sink pastries / muffin thing. Just ask.
They have a small selection of delicious donuts. They're pretty big. Also try the sandwiches, I recommend ham or bacon with egg(s) on croissant. Google Maps navigation will take you to a pretty round about way to get there and then expect you to park on the side of a busy road that's not possible. They're actually located on the other side of the building so turn in at the closest intersection and use street parking. They're cash only but also take Venmo.
