Good choice sushi was one of the worst decisions I made during the holiday here. in an area with many good sushi facilities; they can afford to drive.
All you see is just an OK connection for ayce. her sushi is definitiw up to other competitors, but the options for other foods.
This review is difficult for me to write, as I have known the owners of this restaurant for nearly 20 years. I first visited the establishment when I moved to the area in 2002, but stopped going after some incidents with bad service around 2010. The company started hiring younger servers who didn't seem to understand customer service, which was disappointing. I continued to visit, adjusting my expectations, but eventually stopped going altogether due to the underwhelming service. When I returned in 2022, I decided to give Good Choice Sushi another chance and was pleasantly surprised by the good service and sushi. Unfortunately, my positive experience was short-lived. The most disappointing aspect was the lack of a proper manager, with the leadership apparently being left to the Sushi Church, whose members were rude and unprofessional. The final straw came when I visited on a sushi roll night with only 2 servers, resulting in long waits and unacceptably slow service. Despite being a regular patron who always tipped well, I was ignored by the server and sushi cook, leading me to finally give up on Good Choice Sushi. Many locals who share my experience ask ironically, "Good Choice? Is that it?" I am sorry to say that this restaurant is not a good choice. I have given them multiple chances to improve, but unfortunately, they have not lived up to expectations.
Extremely disappointing experience. Despite the glowing reviews, I decided to give Good Choice Sushi a try. Unfortunately, it was a letdown. I ordered two rolls in the afternoon, but initially had trouble getting through to the restaurant by phone. When I finally did, I was informed that my order would take 35-45 minutes. Upon arrival, the rolls were not ready. With no other customers in sight, it appeared that the staff were unprepared or running behind schedule. I ordered a crispy roll and a special Happy Roll. The Happy Roll was less than fresh, tasting fishy and off. The shrimp in the crispy roll were undercooked, leaving me thoroughly disappointed. I had high hopes for a sushi spot conveniently located near my home, but sadly, this experience fell short.
