Okura Robata Grill and Sushi Bar - Laguna Beach

The food here is consistently delicious, fresh and beautiful. One of our favorite restaurants in Laguna.

Service was great. The food was pretty bad. Great location to take a drink and watch the TV. But I wouldn't pay the sushi again.

The food is always great. The all you can eat menu has changed and there are fewer items on there than there used to be. Also, the price went from $31.95 per person to $35.00 and now to $42.00 per person. Still a good deal but getting expensive. Should not remove items if you're going to raise the price.

Okura was recommended to us by the hotel. We walked in for a 6pm dinner reservation on a Friday and the place was absolutely dead and remained that way for the hour. We were persuaded to try to happy hour menu and the food was probably the least favorite sushi I’ve ever had. We didn’t even finish each dish. We order 3 appetizers and 3 rolls and it all tasted flavorless, fishy and not very fresh. I was grossed out. We finished up, reluctantly paid the bill and went back to our hotel For dinner. Pretty disappointed.

I do not like televisions in restaurant dining rooms. What the heck is this trend??? Really awful. We ordered the food all at once and that was s mistake because they did not Time dishes at all. The food was excellent. Just all dropped on the table at once. Not a great way to dine
