The Backyard Grill - Lagos

The chicken wings remain memorable for me till this day and it’s been a long time since I visited

A lovely restaurant and grills... Their meals are very tasty and cost friendly... the restaurant indeed has a backyard which is like a sit out area...the environment is very serene,cool and nice for taking pictures for the gram..a nice place to hangout with your friends..football lovers aren’t left out...they have a bar area where you can watch football as well.

(March 2022 update closed due to renovation) Fantastic outdoor indoor setting with Really great tasty food and service. No regrets every time I visit. If you are around VI and looking to hangout with friends in an open air space with an option to go indoors for some calm Backyard is your best bet. Ample parking space too! A message should be communicated about their recent closure

Looks like Backyard is unable to keep up with the competition. It has been a favourite for watching football games with friends over the years but seems to be sliding down the gutter with each visit and their clientele clearly dwindling. Maintenance is lacking.. it’s also now common for items on the menu to be unavailable. Staff don’t bother wearing uniforms anymore and with claims of failing POS devices, they solicit for bill payments via their personal accounts (possibly scamming the bar owners) Go if it’s the only place open.

My experience here was amazing and weeks, months after I can still relive the experience. It's a super chilled hangout to relax and get off the stress of Lagos
