Bidrage med feedbackAmbiance is okay and I've never had a problem with parking. One of the waitresses told me recording wasn't allowed (I wonder why! Are they doing something the public shouldn't see? . Snacks is usually never ready before 8:30am. Food is delicious though.
Wasn't looking for any extraordinary meals. Yet they were unable to provide. This is peak period on a week day.
Food was good. But, COVID19 protocol was near zero. Little to no distancing. Attendants had masks below the mouth or chin with the exception of the security lady at the door). It was unnerving to see an attendant without nose or mouth covering, standing right in front of the food I'm supposed to buy. Leaves much to be desired.
I have scarcely seen the kind of laxity to service delivery displayed by this restaurant anywhere else. Why display a meal on the menu when it is not available and you made me wait for over 3 hours without informing me of its unavailability? This is highly irresponsible!
A place in desperate need of Managerial change……………. This Sweet Sensation branch is un-inviting and the staff (one guy in particular) have reached new levels of rudeness This is a place I frequented quite often in yesteryears. Now it’s in a rather sad state of affairs. I walked in early this afternoon and I was greeted with the stench of Body odour, humidity, dampness and a slight whiff of the toilet. Forgive me, but normally the pleasant smell of recently cooked food should be the defining factor as you walk in a place. However, I know the place so I pushed on – I stood in line to be served – I just wanted to order a couple of scotch eggs and a drink. When another customer walked in and he was attended to ahead of myself by a male staff. I didn’t want to cause a scene, after all I just wanted some eggs. I watched this male staff had a lengthy discussion with the customer over the price of the food items and what was available. The male staff had a face mask on but choose not to cover his mouth or nose but left the mask around his chin. He was speaking to the customer over the food items at length – quite animatedly – I could imagine copious amounts of spittle flying over the food items. I was a little disgusted but was told to buy the scotch eggs for a friend. To my horror, the customer that came after me ordered a bunch of eggs and pies. I quickly told the cashier that I was next and that I just wanted 2 eggs. She called the males staffer’s attention, he looked at me with disdain and just continued dishing out the meal to the other customer. In the end, there were no eggs left, despite the cashier’s attempt to set the guy straight he was dismissive and rude. He made no attempt to correct the situation, over alternatives or even apologise. I walked out, drove down the road and got my order – happily at a much better place with better service. Luckily there are a lot of great food places on Awolowo road. Well, I came here out of a certain loyalty – I will not be coming here again – not unless I desire food with spittle all over it!
