Bidrage med feedbackWe were in suites alba from October 24 for 3 nights and have mixed feelings about restaurante morgadinho. we had a nice meal in the first night and the high-time buffet was good. However, the breakfast in this restaurant was simple and uninspired with regard to. the offer and the art and wise as it was presented. even budgethotels try to make their breakfast attraktiw. you had the clear impression that the staff had the feeling that they didn't have to do much effort. the employees were generally slow and dazzling in their work rather bright, efficient and cheerful, as one could expect from a place that claims a luxury rating. the breakfast was rather lustless and not immediately refilled. (the fried eggs looked like they were there forever! self-service hot drinks machines are in order if there is enough of them and they work efficiently. Unfortunately, this was not the case. a small teekanne with hot water to fill, took an old and many pressures of the taste, with the time it was debating whether the water was still hot enough to roast the tee! the search on these machines was least satisfactory. with a large kitchen and many employees, coffee or teapots could easily be brought to the table. our last meal in this restaurant (in a group of 20 was disappointing and very bad worth for money. the lupens should have been delivered with the starters. the thunfish in my starter was not bigger than my little finger. the most important parts of the course were quite small, as small as they would qualify as starters! the seabed consisted of a few tiny fish scraps (i.e. thin and not enough to cover a drink coaster. the lamb also came as a small piece. the arrangement of objects on the plate in a pretentious “artistic” way could not change the feeling that at 25 euro this was extremely bad price-performance ratio. despite the art, the aromen were just normal. as part of a three-day high-time event, no one wanted to spoil the joyful mood by complaining, but the fact is that this meal was far from satisfactory. I suspect that most people around this table would have sent their meals for the consideration back to the kitchen. we were impressed by the suites alba resort and the spa, but felt that they were disappointed by restaurante morgadinho, as our experiences of this restaurant ranged from quite good to seriously poor. it could benefit from an internal review of its practices by resort management.
That is a beautiful restaurant that serves good meals. the tellers are carefully dressed with delicious diners. the personal is friendly and any request for changes in the menu is approved in the rule by the kitchen. the one reason why I have this restaurant a 4-star rating is the atmosphere of the restaurant. it is located in the same opposite were served breakfast, which gives a cafeteria feeling.
This is a wonderful place, the breakfast buffet is excellent, lunch very good (I personally recommend the mushroom risotto) and the dinners are fabulous. the staff is very helpful and eating is top-class. this is not a fast food facility, so they go with ready for a wonderful experience with a good ambiente. there is a separate high-time room close by, which does not interfere in any way with the pleasure of a meal here.
We had several experiences in the restaurant and they went from sublime to very disappointing. in general, daytime service is very simple and full of great things, typical Portuguese and Albanian specialties and with the right balance. dinner in contrast is very pretentious...and I loved fine dunes, not me wrong, but in general the dishes are much too expensive if they don't have to be and therefore they are visually stunning, but a failure in the balance of taste and texture. in general I didn't like the dishes, but it was a good dinning experience. service is friendly, but again totally chaotic and absolutely irregular, some almost 45 minutes for some cold tapas. as the main hotel, great potential, but few things to treat
Ambiente agradável com uma belíssima localização. Serviço simpático e atencioso. Gastronomia de boa qualidade, nomeadamente, nas entradas. De destacar a perdiz fumada e o consommé de aves. Alguns pratos merecem alguns acertos. Boas sobremesas. Tem tudo para evoluir e melhorar. A carta de vinhos com boas opções mas com preços desajustados merece melhores copos.
