A experiência do bar foi fabulosa! Francisco, o barman e extraordinário coquetel, era um especialista em mixagem! Meu Cosmo estava entre os melhores! O ambiente era adorável e a comida tinha um cheiro convidativo! Definitivamente um lugar que recomendo visitar. As instalações eram bem decoradas e bem conservadas. Vale a pena visitar
The ratings are completely inaccurate on this place. Service was horrible and the waiter (man) had zero personality and completely ignored us after we asked to just start with apps and we would wait to order our mains. We shared a main (seafood pasta) and it was very disappointing mussels were half shell and dry as was clam. Pasta had too much sauce and not much flavor. They need to get more staff and people that are actually customer focused. We were celebrating our Anniversary and it was noted on the reservation was never acknowledged by anyone at the restaurant! There are better spots in town to enjoy than this one!
So really nice staff, really helpful and friendly and a lovely quiet terrace. Food was ok. Fish in green sauce was deeply average and way too filling covered in a lukewarm, creamy green sauce. Peri peri chicken was ok.
This restaurant has very good reviews. They are not consistent with my experience. Location it is a long walk up a step hill from the main town. No views from the restaurant. When we arrived the restaurant was almost empty. This sounded alarm bells but here we were. This is big restaurant full it would easily seat over 100. The cutlery and napkins are in paper bags. The wine was ok. The waiter did not direct us to the most expensive but rather to the one he recommended which was good. Entrees mushrooms and caprese salad. Not the typical Portuguese I was hoping for. The caprese was ok. No oil and a small drizzle of balsamic and one basil leaf. With seasoning, basil, oil and balsamic it would have been ok. The mushrooms with capsicum and onion were cooked in a creamy sauce, ok except the mushrooms were not cooked enough and were not great quality. Main squid and sole in green sauce. The squid was tender, but was very salty and heavy with garlic. It was the best of the meal. The sole was over cooked and dry in a spinach sauce. Both came with sides of carrot, potato and cabbage. Overall disappointed and would not recommend. Average food at best. Plastic chairs and tables. Cheap cutlery. No views. All would be ok if the food was simple but good. Unfortunately it was not.
