Really nice restaurant with excellent service and good food. I'm veggie and it doesn't cater so well for me, but that's fair enough as its speciality is fish. But the food I had was fresh and tasty, bread, cheese, olives, salad, veg, and dessert and coffee. Good value too as it was less than 20 euros per head. Very welcoming service with a smile too. Recommended

My boyfriend and I tried 5 restaurants in town and each time we would try grilled fish. I would have to say this restaurant had the Best grilled fish!!! The flavor was spectacular not too buttery, grilled to the right amount of crisp and most importantly all the dishes were superb. I had the “whiting fish.” Would also recommend the “salted mussels” and a cheese platter to start. It’s a local setting and doesn’t try too hard nor is it over hyped. Highly highly highly recommend!!

This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Fresh fish and local seafood delicacies, great variety of wine and the best one from Pico island, recommended by the helpful waiter, amazing starters and desserts. Make sure to book a table in advance as the restaurant is really busy.

We had dinner here 2 days ago during our visit in Lagoa before going back to Ponta Delgada May, 2022). Cons: 1. The queue time is a bit crazy. I advise you may come here early or make a reservation. 2. It took a little bit longer until your order served on your time. 3. The is a bit pricey for us. We spent €46 for two of us. 4. The dessert of maracujá was not good for us. 5. My chicken wings was a bit too salty. €5,50 for 8 pieces). Pros: 1. The staffs are quite nice, helpful, and attentive. She helped us to find a table while we were waiting. 2. The restaurant sells fresh grilled fish and any other Portuguese food. We ordered Lapas as our entrance and it was so tasty €15) and the quantity was enough for 2. The garlic bread was good €3,50). The sauce of my chicken wings was tasty too. The grilled fish of my partner was tasty and good. It was half dose and the quantity was enough for him. 3. Free WiFi accessible inside the restaurant. 4. They allow dine-in and take-away but not delivery order. 5. They allow payment in cash or card. 6. Indoor and outdoor seating available. 7. There is a table service. 8. The restroom is free. 9. Entrance accessible for wheelchair. 10. Parking accessible for wheelchair. It is free to park nearby. 11. Not mandatory to wear a mask. 12. Digital menu is accessible with the free wifi.
