Acadian Superette - Lafayette

We got the bbq plate and brisket sammy. Best bbq I’ve had in a while. Their home style fries are amazing!! Get that with the rette sauce. Service is very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere indoors stays true to the neighborhood grocer. The back patio has a lot of potential to draw a good crowd, so I hope they’ll eventually be open later. Will definitely be back.

Was in town for training. Saw them on the news. Came for lunch. The food was delicious. Got some boudin to take home. Husband loved it. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Lafayette.

I've yet to try anything here that I remotely regret. BBQ is on point. The Reuben is one of the best. The Don burger is everything I want when I have a burger craving. And the fries are fresh and remind me of the homemade fries my dad used to make (just a little crispier...sorry dad! . Make it a point to stop here!

Went last week for lunch called a few times to check out the daily specials, but nobody answered. When I got there, there were no plate lunches available even tho it was only 12:30 pm. So I ordered a brisket sandwich off the menu and it was very tasty but quite small for $12.

Cliché ' I have NEVER. EVER. Had a Reuben this good. I 'd like to consider myself a Reuben connoisseur and this Reuben here, lord have mercy. It melts in your mouth, it 's so juicy, the flavors that burst w/ each bite are unexplainable. Some might call, a magical experience! The staff were delightful! The place looked good. The drinks were ice cold the food was blow off before taking a bite fresh!!! The moment they reopen we will be back!
