Bidrage med feedbackAfter reading some positive reviews on TripAdvisor, I decided to visit Village Pizza to satisfy my sudden craving for pizza. I was not disappointed. While the service was not particularly fast, it is to be expected with a good wood fire oven. I made a special request for my pizzas to have only half the amount of cheese, and they happily accommodated. My pizza craving was definitely satisfied at Village Pizza.
This restaurant in the Philippines serves the best wood-fired pizza we have ever tasted during our trip. It is without a doubt the best pizza in the country.
Relax with the locals on the plastic chairs in the city square. the often fired pizza is tasty, big and filling. there is even an option to have a filled crust. I would recommend this place to any pizza lover. just wait a bit until the pizza is cooked (only a little bit).
Yes, there may be a wait as they are popular in the evenings, opening at 5 o'clock. We enjoyed a couple of beers and chatted with other backpackers while waiting in the charming space. The wait was about 45 minutes. The beer was ice cold and refreshing. While it may not be the best pizza you'll ever have, as mentioned in other reviews, it is quite good for the price. Pizzas average around 199 pesos and a medium appetizer is a must.
We went there for a quick cheap meal and we got what we were looking for. Nice pizza on a wood fire oven, nice emploees quick service. Nothing bad and nothing special to point out.
