Bidrage med feedbackThe first time Ethiopian. I like the experience of using the Injera instead of utensils to get food, but the sponge texture of strange and after a while I could simply no longer treat the sour taste.
I've been coming to Ms. Amy for years and it's always good. The service is wonderful, the staff is great, and the food is DELICIOUS! The food is always fresh. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Absolutely.
For the first time to eat Ethiopian cuisine and I was very pleasantly surprised. Lightly spicy, built on the palate and on the back of the mouth. Appetizer was a sambusa a roasted meat filled pastries with a tomato chili diving sauce. Light pastries, decorated beef. I had the Alicha Wot (lamb stew) and the Flatmate had the Key Wot (beef stew). My side was lentils and his potato stew. They come to Injera bread, which is an interesting, spongey crepe like pancakes that is both Wrap and Utensil. Here is the breakdown: Beautiful, enticing aromas 1 star; great music (I love Reggae) 1 star; delicious appetizer 1 star; fast and friendly service 1 star; awesome main course 1 star. I will, 100%, go back
This is my second time to eat Ethiopian food. The first was right outside the country of Ethiopia, so I feel like I know good and authentic Ethiopian foods. Is the food authentic? Yes, very authentic. If you haven't tried this kind of food yet, you are ready for a large mix of spices / spices. Don't expect any cutlery either. They'll give you a sponge bread you'll take off and eat. Is the food good? Yeah, very good. I tried the main lamb and the whole vegetarian plate. Both were very pleasant. This place also offers a vegan buffet Friday evenings.
I've been wanting to check this spot out for a while now and recently had the opportunity. Started with the lentil sambusa, then had the chicken tibs awaze. OMG! So good. So glad to have this gem in the area.
