We went to the store in Vernazza for a cone of fries to enjoy by the water. The staff were unfriendly and the fries were just scooped out cold, who knows how long they had been sitting there! The fried seafood didn’t look great either as it was also sitting in the Bain-Marie.

This is the best place to get take-away calamari (and other fish/seafood/chips if you want)! We were actually at the location in Vernazza and it was absolutely delicious! Huge portion! The staff were really friendly! Highly recommend it!

I hesitate to give them all five stars, but our visit was five-star because the calamari was freshly fried. Unlike the Monterosa train station site in Cinque Terra where the calamari is always freshly fried it could be that this site allows their calamari to sit around a bit. Still, it was delicious, and at 9 Euro for a well packed cone, we’ll be back.

To Portovenere in small square, great fish, wide choice but above all exceptional cocktails. Peruvian bartenders supreme!
