Mimi's Bistro Bakery - La Quinta

I would give this place 0 stars if it was possible . We went for brunch this morning . My eggs Benedict was completely dry, the yolk was crumbly and awful. I asked them to remake it and it took over 30 min to bring me a new plate . By the time I receivedmy plate my party had finished eating their meals so the only choice I had was to box it up and take it home. The service wasawful and it was hot and smelled terrible. We tried to give them the another chance and ordered a desert to share because I wasstarving from not being able to enjoy a meal. After another 40 min of no one bringing our desert or even a glass of water that Iasked for multiple times I decided to just pay and leave. I will never come here again !

I keep ordering burgers from most restaurants I go to even though I'm consistently disappointed. Mimi's offered a burger on cheese crusted sourdough bread which I thought was interesting enough to chance it again, and I'm glad I did! One of the bestburgers I've had. The fries it came were thin and crispy just how I like. Mimosa flight was also great. They seemed a littleshort staffed, but the service was nonetheless quite good.

The food was delicious. I tried the iced peanut butter coffee and enjoyed it a lot. I tried the smoked salmon omelet and my husband has the smoked salmon Benedict. The blueberry muffin was outstanding. Potatoes were okay.

Great experience! Came in from out of state for my mothers birthday and were immediately treated like family. Our server Lulu provided excellent service and recommended some of the best dishes we?ve had in a long time. Freddy Haro, the manager, even cameout and personally introduced himself to us. All in all we had a great time and will most definitely be coming again.
