The Greene Turtle - La Plata

Come to James. Personalized, friendly, attentive, smiling. This guy is the best notch. The food and drinks are not bad either.

The food was excellent. My husband ordered the Hog Hammers two different times and I still had a taste of them, he won't share. On the menu there is a nice selection of choices. The seating is very plentiful and a variety of seating; at the bar, at high tables, regular tables, stands and outside on the terrace. The staff is excellent; very polite, prompt and a joy. The owner and manager(s) were most accommodating and gracious. We had planned several events with them, including one that was not. We had an incident in which an institution could not honour its agreement for a charity event. The Green Turtle of LaPlata became aware of the incident on the day of the event and informed us to come to their establishment and they would honor the same agreement. They saved us the day. How would I evaluate this facility? How can I not give them 5 stars!

We enjoyed our lunch yesterday sitting outside on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Our waiter, James, was absolutely fantastic and made our time there even more enjoyable!!
