Sunshine Pancake House - La Mesa

This was a great place to stop for breakfast. The servers were very nice and the food was cooked perfectly. I had a Belgian waffle that we served so warm and soft I was impressed. I'd def return anytime.

The food is excellent as is the service. My first time here. I'm glad that I came. it's a long way from my house but I happened to be in the area so I tried it. it's beautifully appointed, the coffee is good and the food is excellent. I was fortunate to have an omelet and my daughter loved her eggs and bacon. The pancakes however are the best part. Try it, I'll be there again soon.

Breakfast made from scratch. The baked omelettes are huge but I prefer the french toast or belgian waffle. Cost averages $20 per person.

Late breakfast for me, but I read good reviews about this place and was close by so why not. There weren't a lot of people there maybe 3 families and a couple singles. I think my biggest take away is I could sense the flavor of the food (Bacon eggs hash browns toast and a pancake) but it's lost when the food is cold. Maybe next time I'll get to taste it warmer.
