Farmer's Table La Mesa

The good: hostess was friendly, funny atmosphere, Brussels spies were delicious. the bad (and these are really not bad, they are more “funny” : there are really strange tables in a section where the seats are too high and the table is too low. we have seen how three different groups decided to change tables so they did not have to sit there. the restaurant should look in deeper chairs. to the happiness our table was in order, but it was fun to watch how everyone sits, looks shocked and asks for another table. huh was over boiled and waiter forget my drink and forget our appetizer. He got caught up in marihuana. Maybe they can provide a better service if they are not stoned? just a thought. we will try again. looks as if several good escapes were tried.

The oysters were small and were not fucked, martini was full of ice when I was asked if parmesan would get a small paper cup with something in it. all the entrees were great, short Rib-Ravioli especially good.

The service is always slow here. the waitress was not very good to hear what we ordered. When she made something wrong, she gave us the blame. it was gone, but they let us sit on the table and chat one thing after eating so that it was good.

Food order came out incorrect between the two plates at the table. Was returned correctly, but was cold. Ordered coffee. Normally, servers come by occasionally to refill the coffee, but they never came. At the end of the meal I asked for a coffee refill and was served cold coffee. I won’t return.

Prix fixe NYE dinner was great, good value for the money and delicious. Our server was attentive. They ran out of a ton of beers, but that's to be expected for a holiday. Happy to have dined here on NYE.
