Restaurant Bistro Le Patriarche

Excellent service, excellent food, very generous portions. ate for $50 in the table d'hôte a thigh of canard confite, and in entrance for me a salmon tartare and my chum of the goat... all was excellent and the really beautiful presentations. we can change the dessert for the soup of the day...the pottery of organic vegetables of charlevoix was also delicious.

Picturesque restaurant. nice service. and very good food. Reservations are necessary because it is quite small and very recommended by the premises.To advise without hesitation.

The four of us enjoyed the calm atmosphere in this cute, small restaurant, and the food was good - though I would not say that it was outstanding. Service was also very good. It is worth a visit.

Yup I went in to the (small) kitchen after the meal and just felt that good about our evening. We were in La Malbaie for 4 nights so ate at many of the restaurants in and around town. This one was the best by far. Traditionally prepared, perfectly cooked, large portions, lovely setting, fairly priced. frankly I can't think of anything I don't like. Well, I didn't love the plastic table clothes but I'll forgive given the exceptional food. Seafood dishes were excellent.

We continue to be impressed with La Malbaie and the excellent choices for restaurants. La Patriarche is no exception. A quaint location on the St. Lawrence, across from the station and quay on a small strip of restaurants and shops. The food was very good - french style - and service friendly. Also not overly expensive for the quality of the meal. Great choice for an evening if you are staying at Le Manoir Richelieu. A nice 10 minute walk down the hill on clearly marked stairs.
