Café Chez-Nous - La Malbaie

Excellent value, service and delicious food. We ate here on 3 consecutive days and it was consistently good. Had to wait outside for no more than 10 minutes, it's worth waiting. Traditional breakfast is 2 eggs, fruit, toast and choice of bacon/cheese/ham/sausage/Bohnen and...endless coffee, which is decent quality. We were on the street in Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu and we prefer Chez Nous because food quality, service, price and ambience so much better!

The restaurant is located in an old house that has been renovated. Funky Retro furniture and decor. The food was GREAT. Menu is not big, but all they do is tasty and a bit original, tables are small, but resataurant has good lighting and the front end has a view of the river. Prices are very cheap and the service is fast. It serves breakfast lunch and dinner. They use local products and sell some local cooffes, jams, marinades etc. A must when you go to Malbaie. Just a few minutes walk from the casino

Breakfast. Food was very fresh and a pleasant offer of fruit with your order. The menu was available in English, and the staff and we enjoyed the communication. Coffee was good and hit, atmosphere was cozy.

Very pleasant and earthy basic break fast and lung place during low season. It was packed in the morning for breakfast as most places were closed. Sun room was closed but the dinning area is cozy and charming. Inside is diner theme and outer edge...is like a closed in patio with views to the Saint-Laurence river thru gap between 2 large mansions via open parking space. Bénédictines were great. Omelet was over cooked and slightly dry. Fruits , especially staled water melon , we’re not fresh but still nice to have some on the side. Coffee was bland so if you like it stronger, better order separately. Service was slow but there were only two waitresses for the whole pa led restaurant. Price was pre-COVID so quite reasonable. Still pretty good stop.
