Midori Bar & Sushi - La Jolla

The food is almost worth the painfully slow service and sticky tables. The waitress was great making it a 'would do again ' spot.Our late lunch (1400) should have meant reasonable service, but we waited an hour for our food.Food: 5/5

For years, we have been regular patrons of this establishment, making it our go-to sushi spot in Pacific Beach. The staff, including the sushi chefs, is exceptional, and the location adds to the overall experience. The music they play is also quite enjoyable. The food is consistently excellent, making it the perfect choice whenever you have a craving for sushi.

The place is simply OK. First- they have uni on the menu but when you order it they didn’t have it. Most of the roll were just whatever and they almost all tasted the same. The best thing I had was a yellowtail hand roll.

Pretty average sushi at an above average price for lunch. I had the Dragon roll, which was pretty but not tasty, and the snow crab roll, which was tasty but not pretty. The patio outside utilized a card table and folding chairs. I was sated but not too impressed.

Home delivery. The food delivery did not include all of what I ordered. The food that was delivered was probably the worst food I've ever had served. This place desperately needs new management.
