Ice Blast Shaved Ice - La Jolla

This is a small place on Convoy. I went a few times, and I saw up to two employees. Shaving ice seems to be a little slow but tasty business. I've never waited in a row, but when you go with a friend, it usually takes 5-10 minutes to clear both orders. It's still worth it. They 'll put ice on the floor, layer in adzuki beans or mochi, and have a decent series of syrup flavors. A hint of caution: These things are great. Get the tiny (size of your head) unless you want to share. So good if not better than the north coast. Fantastic razor.

Born and raised in Hawaii and of course there are Matsumoto's. Since the move of Hawaii no one even came near Matsumoto's Shaved Ice until a friend of mine brought me to the Ice Blast. They are the ONLY ONE that can give Matsumoto a escape for her money. Very recommended. The prices are reasonable and the razor is HUGE. So glad my friend introduced me here

I wanted to shave ice and found it in the places. My sister asked me what I made her do. The place was very quiet with only a family of 4. The first thing you do is to select the size you want, I ordered a little, my Sis asked for a medium and he asked them if it was safe. She did not notice that above the cup was a colored shaved ice, which shows that it might reach 4 or 5 inches higher than the edge of the cup. She quickly changed her too small. I got the pretty pink with condensed milk. It was a combination of strawberry, raspberry and something else I can't remember. She ended up with Pina Colada with condensed milk and ice cream on the bottom. We both like our order. I know the idea of condensing milk sounds strange, but do it, it's good. I wish there were more condensed milk.

Super soft ice cream with a ton of taste! This place is a favorite place on hot days safe!
