L'Entracte - La Flèche

It came too late for lunch at our arrival in La Flèche and we needed a snack for lunch. We went for a while looking for something that fits the bill. It was a very hot and sunny day, and we soon felt...wear and needed a cool drink and shade. We simply chose this bar restaurant from the sun, more than for its menu or the way the place looked. Once we came out of the sun and had some water, we felt better and ordered food. We were on the terrace in front of the restaurant and boy we were glad we were. There in the bar area was practically abandoned by a family with very loud and disturbing children who walk and walk all they said: it must have been hell for the bar staff. My partner had the duck salad, the fair to be looked very good, she said that they enjoyed it and the record was finished by the time it ended. I had the pork cockcocotte that was delicious and very acceptable with a few chips. The meals were selected from the Plats du Jour and were a good value. The service was sufficient and pleasant and our waiter seemed busy all the time and he kept the tables clear (always a blessing because fewer flies are attracted).
