Sagal Steak House - La Dorada

The restaurant is clean, but the atmosphere is not what you'd expect at a high end steakhouse, which is how this restaurant wants to be perceived. Our steaks were well prepared and the service was excellent, but I wasn't left with a burning desire to go back to this restaurant.

Came with a group of 10 individuals. Since the start to the end my experience was really bad.The order came after 1 hour and 10 minutes. I ordered a Salmon Ginger-Orange glazed. After the long waiting the dish was cool and bad terribly cooked.Stay away from this place. There are plenty of good places around here.Prices over $20.

One of the best steaks in Bogota. Place is simple but warm, food is fresh and good cooked. It has good wine options and the attention is great !!

I give this place credit for not succumbing to the pretentious overdone decor of its neighbors in posh parts of Bogotá. Whether intentional or not, its simple, almost cafeteria-ish locale makes the steaks the only focal point. They are good, made with well chosen meat and carefully prepared. All the rest can be forgotten, from the uneventful sides to uninspired starters. If you are in the mood for a good steak and absolutely nothing else, this is your place.

When you arrive to Sagal (The one in the Boulevard Niza Mall), the first impression is a sofisticated and friendly space, very clean and organized. Good place whether if you are in town for bussines or want a nice place to have a family time (lunch or dinner). The customer service is good and the staff are friendly. Next step...the food. The steak is well seasoned, tender and tasty ( argentina style). If you are a steak lover, this is the place you must go.
