Gamberro - La Dorada

Excellent restaurant with a wide and interesting menu and wine list. Service is excellent. The environment is sophisticated.

To start, the cheese croquettes were delicious, as well as the small potato appetizers. Had the sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection, juicy and delicious. The desserts were decadent! The rice pudding was warm with a delicious crisp sugar topping and the bread pudding...was scrumptious! The decor is modern, somewhat dark but very cozy. Servers were so attentive, we didn't need to wait long for anything. Loved this place!

Located in a lively park like area along with a half a dozen other restaurants next to EK hotel. Has outdoor seating with heaters. Food is excellent. We had potatos Bravas an unusual presentation but very good (could do with less crema on top), and...shrimp bowl (heavenly) and fish of the day. Drinks are average, but most people seem to order wine. Service is typical for Colombia (ie slow)

We went looking for a place to eat in bogota and this restaurant is a surprise! We had the arroz marinero and that was awesome! The other choice wasn’t as good so we sent it back and it was removed from the bill. I had...a super fun cocktail with red wine and soda. What a great place.
