They rent surfboards that were good. but the personal in the restaurant, all that they do, is to scream together all the time. they can rent sun umbrellas here

Breakfast burrito is top notch stuff! Stay and watch surfers all day with a few toña, and you have yourself a day.

Been here a bunch of times. If laid back is your all, you're home. I've met Carlos, i should tell him this directly. After coming back several times i realize the grit, flies, smelly bathrooms and trash flying around aren't a part of the funky vibe, they're just nasty and the owners are being lazy. If drinks weren't so expensive the dirt and general neglect would be ok. These guys could clean the place up quite a bit and still keep the funky beach vibe.

The hostal was okay. Definitely a lot things to inprove but okay. But i wouldn't stay there a longer time anymore, if the location wouldn't be directly at the beach. We stayed there for surfing which was a super sport. Location is Playa Maderas

Service is completely uneven depending on servers but always on the slow side, was served a very undercooked burger (raw in the center, burned on the sides), had to help them sort out my bill a few times. Board rental is somewhat ok, just take a close look at what you're renting making sure it is watertight and that the fins will stay on the board... until they put some order in their act, there are better places to go in the direct area.
