Bidrage med feedbackWe walked along the beach from Cavalaire and stopped for a drink and then decided to stay for dinner. Started with cocktails sitting on the sofa with our feet in the sand watching the sun go down. Then had dinner with nems to start followed by Thai style fresh fish. We drank rose wine from the Abbey of Thoronet which came in a blue bottle and was wonderful. The staff were charming.
Highly highly recommended … if you want great beach beds, very amazing location, lovely people looking after you and delicious food …. You will not be disappointed with this place if you want a lovely relaxing day by the beach. As for the food, I must have had 5 of the different meals on the menu over our holiday moules, lasagna, the cesar salad and the prawns it was hard to choose the best. They were all delicious. Plus the chocolate ice cream is AMAZING. Next time we are at Croix Valmer we will go straight to this beach bar. Thank you to all the staff … they made it great fun too.
This was our go to beach restaurant but sadly no more. We booked sun beds and lunch. The sunbeds were fine but come lunchtime, the menu was not inspiring, so we asked about the Tapas. We were told we couldn’t order this at the table, so we retired to the sunbeds and after asking if the XXL tapas contained a bit of everything, we ordered this. We were so disappointed when a platter of battered food arrived. Everything was battered and it didn’t include cheese or meats. Extremely overpriced for what it was! It’s a shame, but we won’t be returning as there are so many other beach restaurants in the area.
Nice place of restaurant delicious dishes, very large portion of wine-friendly staff and parasols to rent for the beach cave parking at disposal.
The place the decor the frame are superb and refined. the staff is nice and welcoming but the dishes are complicated and not really good. especially the tartare with a badly chopped meat, a strange seasoning, a curious taste. the panached frying plate to share also with tastes quite strong and not very definite. Actually, I think the cook makes his mixture as the idea comes to him without any talent. prices are high for a meal that leaves a bad effect
