It has become a meca for neighborhood culture and boomers who need a place to hang out after the beach without changing clothes. Coyote's has become the voice of local musicians who strive to keep the voice of jazz and blues alive long after hip hop and indie have stormed the digital download world we have become so bombarded with. It is a refreshing and welcome place for those over 40 who wish to keep musical expression alive and well even in SD county. You may not go there for the great service or gourmet menu but to those of us who live here, Coyote's is the only place to go.
