Bar des Glaces - La Ciotat

Our local guide (my son) was concerned that we were too late for lunch, and when it was, we had circled the place a few times before we even find a parking place, a few minutes from the front. when we arrived there (especially the pizza palaces) we found that not only the lunch was available, but that the day was still something special. I've been beaten and how happy I was. live in a country where lamb is not readily available at all, but in '60s england, where Sunday departure was automatically the cheapest of cuts, nz breast of lamb, how could I not react to the waiter's suggestion? succulent and a massive help. the other two meals were also eaten with gusto, but for that living of me I could not tell you what they were. this is one of the many small inexcellent restaurants along the front, with its piece of a view of the harbour. the waiter was cheerful and happy to enter the banter with my 24-year-old son.

Arrived in front of by chance after a stall with a restaurant owner; guests at the terrace have made us praises of this restaurant by telling us that the kitchen is made home. we decide to pass the door and we did not regret our choice. a great evening with friends with a nice and professional waiter.I recommend this authentic place. for us it's safe our new address at the ciotat

Passing through the port we were looking for a simple restaurant, without a head and not too expensive. we settled here by chance ... restaurant type "Summer trout" without pretention, without superfluous, without chichi ... and finally we were surprised by the quality of the plates. We've taken some salads and a meat dish. everything was very good, perfectly well seasoned, quality and quantity at the appointment. we were not looking for high-quality dishes of hyper refined quality but hoped not to fall on a tourist catch and we were not disappointed. there is no cheating on these plates, which is proposed is what served you and the price remains very correct. the reception is also very well, sober, discreet and simple. comfortable and relaxed ... perfect, we wish you to make a beautiful season. Nice welcome, good dishes, do not look for the big kitchen but it is fresh, it is good and the rates are correct. We don't go with hunger but with the smile of the boss!bref we ate well
