Chateau Mont Royal Chantilly

We went there for the Gypsy Jazz concert. Super nice moment, very cozy, intimate. Then a short stroll down the stairs, for the atmosphere. Perfect place! Hotel highlights: Romantic, Quiet

Very nice hotel in the middle of the forest. The historic part is of course prettier than the more recent addition of a low ceiling, a “cheap” pastiche facade which has the advantage of not being visible when you are inside and of having the elevator which leads directly to the swimming pool (too cold). Very professional and attentive staff, especially the valet and baggage handlers. Excellent breakfast, in the beautiful room of the gourmet restaurant, with the possibility of being taken outside in good weather. The hotel hosts professional seminars whose actors sometimes leave the toilets quite dirty, as the cleaning staff cannot be responsive enough. The bar room is magnificent, you can also have a glass of champagne on the high terrace for the sunset (do not ask for an off-menu cocktail, such as a strawberry mojito, they are not great). A very nice establishment overall: The swimming pool is too cold and the nuisance from the seminarians are my only complaints.

It 's always a good idea to spend a few days in this beautiful and prestigious castle. The service is warm and pleasant. The rooms are impeccable. We feel well welcomed and expected. The suites are magnificent and bathing or showering moments are pleasant with the infusion capsules... Let 's hope that the group buying this hotel preserves its old and royal side... Rooms: 5
