I've frequently visited the Charles since 2019, and after their remodel, I didn't really enjoy going. I had heard they recently were under new management and I have to say the place is absolutely fantastic these days. The drinks are amazingly tasty, the food is absolutely outstanding, and every single person on staff is the kind of friendly you'd expect from Southern Maryland. I enjoy a restaurant of this quality where the owners will personally recommend options to guests as it adds to the experience as a whole, and really shows they care about their customers experience.They also do a new Taco Tuesday special with margaritas, nachos, and 4 different kinds of tacos! Highly recommend coming in some time and experiencing the new management.Sophie and Steven on the bar are an absolute treat as well! Go get you something tasty to sip on!

Sofia was a gem! Food was tasty, hot and served in good time. Everything was gone when the plates were pulled, which shows all was good!

It was wonderful. Madeline our server took great care id us. Her attention to our table was wonderful; she had a great sense of humor! Additionally , the food was delicious.

A very nice restaurant in the heart of La Plata, MD. I highly recommend them and enjoyed my dining experience for the 3rd time in one week. Did you catch that?
