Lovely girls who run the place and definitely the best coffee I've had in Kyoto, yummiest little cakes and sweets. I couldn't possibly recommend this place any more!! Not to mention the impressive no. 1's these girls studied their crafts with. If you haven't been here before, do yourself a favour and go try it out!

I had a small matcha cake when I was here, along with two other things, but I want to focus on the cake. It was about an 1 inch by 4 inches. On the top it was powdered with matcha and the creme of the cake was green. At first taking a slice with my fork the cake was light and airy. It stood rigid against my fork but not in a hard way, it stood rigid in a way that a light, delicate creme does, only letting the slice form where it is made. The bite had a touch of bitterness from the raw matcha but was quickly juxtaposed against the sweetness of the cake and the powdered sugar that accompanied the matcha. The creme was delicious, sweet, with a hint of matcha. And even though the red beans inside the cake could be seen from where they were sliced, they added a nice surprise to the bite, as they added a difference in texture. The cake came topped with a single, whole red bean as well. This cake deserves to be eaten slowly, to be enjoyed, and to have its taster steep in its perfected combination of ingredients. The two women that were working there were very nice. I enjoyed their service very much. They delicately and beautifully wrapper the things I bought and gave me a good greeting as I arrived and left. They are very good at what they do. The skill that was reflected in their creations is apparent and wonderful. I recommend crèmexplus very much!

Amazing staff, amazing coffee, amazing cakes! Highly recommend this place for anyone and everyone.
